About the role
This position is available for weekend shifts only, specifically Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The shift includes a 11.11% shift differential and operates on a 3-day workweek.
Responsibilities
- Removal and installation of panels, components, and interiors
- Repair work on avionics installations
- Stamp, bundle, and install connectors on wiring
- Removal of old wiring and installation of new wire bundles in aircraft
- Troubleshooting and evaluation of avionics systems on the aircraft when designated
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated
- Aircraft movement and assistance in hangar stacking when required
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment, and tooling
- Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
- Work within a team process
- Work independently on projects when required
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- Electronics or Avionics training is preferred
- A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory
Qualifications
- Tech I: 0-2 years of experience in avionics, military avionics, or electrical field
- Tech II: 2-4 years of experience in avionics or military avionics field
- Tech III: 4-6 years of experience in avionics or military avionics field
- Master Technician: 6+ years’ experience with corporate/business avionics systems
Skills
- Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines
- Follow wiring diagrams, route, and terminate wires at proper locations
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, and perform functional tests for various avionics and instrument systems
- Work with others in a professional manner

Pay
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $22-$35. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
