Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Read and interpret complex aircraft wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and technical orders.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair avionics and electronic systems to the component level using electronic test equipment and technical publications.
- Apply knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory, Wheatstone bridge theory, Ohm’s Law, and signal conditioning for various aircraft sensors.
- Utilize s equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, dielectric testers, frequency generators, and counters to perform diagnostics.
- Perform precision soldering on wires and connectors; use crimping tools, wire strippers, continuity testers, and perform pin-out sing for MIL-SPEC connectors.
- Route, secure, and tie-wrap cables in accordance with aviation standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in accordance with FAA and company procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and other technicians to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
- Operate effectively with Windows-based computer systems and maintenance tracking software.
- Communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal, to ensure accurate technical documentation and compliance with aviation safety protocols.

- Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction.
- Multi-tasking a necessity; thorough knowledge of 145 repair station standard practices and procedures.
- Able to type with accuracy and speed.
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to project a positive, concerned image to the public.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Able to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electronic repair.
- Knowledge of Wheatstone bridge theory and Ohm’s Law.
- Experience in a 145 repair station a plus.
