AVID Tutor (Temporary 9/1/26-12/9/26)

Description

The Shakopee School District has an opening for one temporary AVID tutor. Monday through Friday, approximately 29 hours/week. AVID tutor travel between Shakopee East and West Middle Schools and Shakopee High School. Reliable transportation is required.

Job Summary

This is a temporary assignment from September 1, 2026 through approximately December 9, 2026; however, once the assignment ends, the selected candidate will retain rights to another opening within the paraprofessional group, consistent with district placement practices.

Qualifications

• Must be a college student in good academic standing or college graduate
• Must have a strong academic background
