About the Role

The Aviation Technician I demonstrates high mechanical aptitude and is responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling aircraft components while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all company and federal rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft fuel/pneumatic equipment.
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
  • Maintain all shop calibrated tools in satisfactory operational conditions.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical and regulatory data.
  • Perform work assignments as determined by the shop lead.
  • Use appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished.
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Record information and accomplish work assignments in compliance with the inspection procedures manual and quality policies and procedures.
  • Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
