Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall operational leadership and administrative direction for all contract security operations.
- Ensure full compliance with Title 49 C.F.R. Part 1542 and all TSA, airport, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and manage all security officers and supervisory personnel, including staffing, scheduling, performance management, and discipline.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of each assigned post, including operational procedures, staffing requirements, and risk profiles.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison with airport stakeholders, TSA representatives, law enforcement, and other partners.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance, training, and performance standards across all posts.
- Lead incident response and crisis management, ensuring timely reporting, documentation, and corrective actions.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and post orders.
- Ensure proper onboarding, training, and certification of all personnel in accordance with contract requirements.
- Monitor and manage contract performance metrics, staffing levels, and service delivery standards.
- Provide regular reports, briefings, and updates to the Contract Security Manager.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Security Management, or a closely related field OR
- Minimum of seven (7) years of aviation/security management experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of aviation/security management experience, including:
- Demonstrated knowledge of airport security operations and regulatory compliance
- Prior proven experience managing large-scale security operations and personnel
Preferred Qualifications
- AAAEE Airport Certified Employee (ACE) – Security designation Required within two (2) years of contract start date
- AAAEE Certified Member (CM) designation (preferred)
- Experience in a large hub airport environment
- Prior Law Enforcement Experience

- Anticipated salary range: $125,000 to $140,000 annually
