Aviation Security Cargo Clearance Agent

Essential Functions

• Intercepts, analyzes, researches and investigates domestic and international packages of interest to ensure regulatory compliance and cargo security.
• Analyzes shipments using cargo screening equipment to ensure safe and compliant shipment movement.
• Responsible for ensuring the safe and secure movement of cargo shipments through warehouse, airports, and other aviation facilities.
• Plays a crucial role in maintaining and enforcing aviation security regulations to prevent unauthorized access and mitigate potential risks to cargo shipment and aircraft movement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work/Domicile Location

This position will be onsite in Memphis, Tennessee.

Job Conditions

• Annual completion of cargo screening training and certification required.
• Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Able to work under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Able to individually lift 50 pounds repetitively and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person in a warehouse environment.
• Maintain successful completion of all basic and recurrency training requirements.
• Fingerprinting required.

Pay

$21.14/hr - $29.59/hr
