Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector
Position Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
- Perform Quality functions such as Customer and DCMA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
- Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.
- Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience with military, airline or certificated repair station background.
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified.
- Prioritize experience in and/or education in Flight Controls, Avionics electronics/systems, and Analysis.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Shift
This position is for 2nd shift (Subject to change).
Additional Information
This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement. Current Boeing employees working in Puget Sound must submit an Employee Request Transfer (ERT) to be considered in the eligible candidate pool.
