Summary Description
The Field Support Representative (FSR) shall provide Unit functional and technical support and training. Troubleshooting and correcting software problems encountered by the users is required. The FSR will assist in the implementation of new hardware and software versions within the customer units and coordinate these activities with the appropriate infrastructure support personnel. The FSR will provide training as necessary with regard to maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical support to the diverse community of users for all Unit assigned aircraft systems, deployable servers, aircraft web applications, and systems software.
- Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge and skills with aircraft systems and software.
- Assist in the fielding of new hardware and software.
- Provide over-the-shoulder training for all aircraft software users.
- Research conflicts of data entries in customer historical forms and records to assure quality historical records for the fielded unit.
- Assist in the certification and validate all historical aircraft and log book records with customer to assure accuracy.
- Report data quality issues to Unit personnel.
- Provide Tier I/II Helpdesk support to on-site and remote locations.
- Maintain and update an electronic database of common procedural issues and solutions or work–around to known issues.
- Capture and file electronic trouble reports and software change requests.
- Coordinate and perform hardware replacements and repairs.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server in order to research issues within Database and assist customers in data mining.
- Diagnose system failures to isolate the source of problems between equipment, hardware components and software applications. Implement corrective actions.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory users and computers.
- Test and evaluate all DIME software prior to release to customers.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of aviation maintenance manuals and policies for all Regiment associated aircraft.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Perform routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required in support of the AMSO.
- Possesses a DoD Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.
Minimum Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, related technical discipline.
- 15 years' experience in Army aircraft maintenance.
- Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.

Salary
- $72,500.00 - $74,000.00
