Aviation Data Management System (ADMS) Location: Tallahassee, FL (100% Onsite) Need local or within 30-45 minutes driving distance Duration: 8+ Months + Possible ext. MOI: Video Required Two professional references. Project Background The selected consultant will support the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of applications and systems in production environments. Responsibilities also include researching, recommending, and implementing appropriate software solutions. Project Overview FDLE is seeking technical services to support the development and implementation of an Aviation Data Management System (ADMS). The system will provide a unified platform and relational database for managing manned and unmanned aviation data. The selected consultant will collaborate with FDLE staff on research, solution architecture, design, delivery, implementation, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements and prepare functional requirements, design documentation, and technical specifications for FDLE information systems.Serve as a technical consultant or researcher.Conduct technical research and evaluate technologies, tools, databases, methodologies, and related solutions.Analyze detailed requirements and prepare supporting documentation.Develop and implement software solutions to meet business requirements.Contribute to project planning, organization, and implementation.Assist with activity definition, sequencing, resource estimation, duration estimation, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development.Support risk identification, tracking, and analysis.Contribute to issue management and tracking.Support project communications management and maintain effective communication among stakeholders.Coordinate project activities with FDLE staff and relevant stakeholders.Perform other cloud-services-related assignments as directed by the Chief Information Officer and/or FDLE supervisor. Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in cloud computing.Expert-level knowledge of implementing Internet, Intranet, and Extranet services, including supporting services and systems.Expert-level knowledge of manned and unmanned aviation assets and associated Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements.Ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT staff to define requirements and recommend cloud computing solutions.Ability to prepare professional technical documentation covering research, design decisions, estimating assumptions, performance metrics, and security requirements.
