About the role
Cordoba Corporation is seeking an Aviation Assistant Project Manager to join our Facilities Sector. The role is located in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary technical liaison for MEPF systems
- Manage MEPF design scope and ensure alignment with operational requirements
- Lead procurement and technical evaluation of consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Oversee installation, testing, startup, and commissioning activities
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans
- Coverage with stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions
- Identify and resolve technical, constructability, and integration challenges
- Conduct field investigations and infrastructure assessments
- Maintain documentation for design criteria, submittals, testing, and commissioning records
- Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and technical change proposals
- Oversight Responsibilities: As-built documentation, O&M manuals, training coordination, warranty tracking
Qualifications
- 10+ years managing MEP systems design and construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field (required)
- Master's degree (preferred)
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional licensure and/or certifications
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure (airport experience preferred)
- Demonstrated coordination of MEPF and controls systems
- Experience supporting commissioning and system turnover
- Technical Knowledge: HVAC systems, Electrical distribution, Plumbing and utilities, Fire protection/life safety systems, Building automation and controls
