AV Technician

About the role

We are looking for 2 AV Techs with at least 1+ year of experience installing racks, cameras, microphones, conferencing equipment and TVs to a central system. The AV Tech preferably should have hands on experience working with Cisco room kits, Extron, Crestron, or Biamp.

Responsibilities

• Experience using a punchdown tool, snipes, and knife for punchdowns in communications closets and terminating jacks.
• Strong understanding of low voltage wiring.
• Work in a client‑facing environment; be presentable and professional.
• Complete AV installation work, cabling work, and troubleshooting for local clients.
• Install and test AV equipment to ensure operational before leaving the jobsite.
• Ensure all cabling is neat and hidden from view as much as possible.
• Provide personal laptop for configurations or to allow corporate office remote login for assistance.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year experience installing racks, cameras, microphones, conferencing equipment and TVs to a central system.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco room kits, Extron, Crestron, or Biamp.
• Experience using punchdown tool, snipes, and knife; ability to perform punchdowns and terminate jacks.
