AV Technician

Responsibilities

• Support a broad range of technical duties to ensure that DanceOne technical operations happen seamlessly.
• Assist in the set up and operation of AV equipment subject to specific training and oversight when required.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate more complex problems to senior technicians.
• Communicate clearly with team members to ensure coordinated execution of technical tasks.
• Work quickly and effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive situations.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and capacity to stay on your feet doing physically demanding work for at least 10 to 12 hours when required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of how to build industry standard structures like truss and staging.
• Knowledge of the basics of cabling for general AV purposes.
• Assist in the set up and operation of AV equipment subject to specific training and oversight when required.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate more complex problems to senior technicians.
• Communicate clearly with team members to ensure coordinated execution of technical tasks.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and capacity to stay on your feet doing physically demanding work for at least 10 to 12 hours when required.

Qualifications

• Experience with audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend responsibilities as needed.
