Serving as Technician and Supporting Engineer

Operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for music performances at a restaurant, bar, and entertainment destination. Ensure high-quality technical execution and guest experiences for visiting artists and patrons.

• Primary audio/visual equipment operator for music performances and events
• Provide day-to-day technical and operational support for sound, lights, video, and backline equipment
• Work with venue leadership to coordinate onsite production during events, offering stage direction when necessary
• Assist department leads in preventative maintenance and repair of audio-visual and lighting equipment and media appliances
• Report equipment technical issues to department lead or production manager
• Interface with technical services, IT staff, and other departments regarding technical systems
• Maintain operational understanding of current audio/visual/lighting/backline technologies and production vendors
• Ensure equipment is used safely, in compliance with industry standards, from load-in to load-out
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for artists, clients, employees, etc., adhering to all codes, laws, regulations, and emergency procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience working as an audio or video engineer for national touring acts, production vendors/suppliers, performance venues, and hotel A/V departments
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair procedures and maintenance

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Working knowledge of music, acoustics, stage lighting, and video engineering
