AV Service Technician - Crestron ( Philadelphia Market)

About the role

The successful candidate will work from home and will be dispatched to client sites in the Philadelphia area to troubleshoot and resolve AV issues found in Board rooms and conference rooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person troubleshooting of audio video systems found in executive board rooms and conference centers.
• Reverse engineer legacy AV systems.
• Debug newly built systems.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance testing.
• Write concise service reports and/or system site surveys.
• Manage multiple service projects.
• Lead and mentor junior/intermediate level field service techs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-8 or more years of experience with AV integration and/or AV field service.
• Experience with major AV brands such as Crestron and Biamp.
• Ability to troubleshoot and understand Crestron systems.
• Ability to research and specify replacement products.
• Intermediate to advanced AV Networking skills.
• Advanced knowledge of signal flow and low voltage electrical concepts; i.e., Ohms law.
• Customer interfacing experience.

Qualifications

• A two-year diploma from a college of technical school, or equivalent experience.
• CTS certification highly preferred, or equivalent experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
