Auxiliary Tool Technician (Yokosuka (CFAY), Japan) with Security Clearance

About the role

Auxiliary Tool Technicians are needed to support our customers in Yokosuka, Japan. This is a long-term Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY).

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation tool maintenance, repair, and consumable selection.
• Ensure tools are in good working condition to prevent corrosion.
• Support the maintenance and upkeep of equipment used in various defense programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience.
• Approximately three (3) years of experience in corrosion control and/or tool maintenance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain work authorization under applicable international agreements, including a Letter of Invitation (LOI) and Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) status.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the required level (if applicable).
• Ability to comply with all U.S. Government, Department of Defense, and Company overseas employment requirements.
