Job Duties

  • Contribute directly to the Developmental Integration & Evaluation, and deployment of 6th Generation aircraft.
  • Develop test plans and procedures for the integration, characterization, and testing of complex test Navigation, Defense Aviation Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance platforms, Command & Control, Automation, Flight Controls, Guidance Navigation & Control, and Inertial Navigation Systems, Global Navigation Satellite System Integration, and Navigation Error Modeling.
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze test data to optimize performance, and support system design enhancements.
  • Perform system performance modeling to demonstrate performance compliance in support of the development, characterization, and testing of new deliverable test systems.
  • Work with engineering staff to document changes made to hardware and deviations from standard procedures as necessary.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution or accredited Master of Science in Engineering with at least 2 years of related engineering experience or accredited doctoral degree in engineering.
  • Technical: Mastery of concepts, principles, and practices of engineering enabling the employee to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programs. Working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Planning/organizing skills. Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
  • Work Experience: Four years of related engineering experience or two years of related engineering experience with an accredited Master of Science in Engineering or a doctoral degree in engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Flight Test Engineering.
  • Experience building digital models and simulations.
  • Experience validating and verifying navigation systems in operational test environments.

Salary

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $185,000 annually. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market/business considerations when extending an offer.
