Job Summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test Specialist to join our dynamic team. Located in Lancaster, TX, this role involves shift flexibility and onsite work.

About the Role

This position is responsible for testing Kodiak's autonomous technology, providing essential feedback to the hardware and software teams, managing testing priorities, troubleshooting systems, and assisting in developing new procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete driving reports and tests to provide feedback to the hardware and software teams
• Manage testing priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Troubleshoot hardware and software systems
• Assist in developing new procedures and policies for the development of Texas operations
• Maintain oversight of the AV system to ensure safe and efficient operations

Requirements

• Flexibility for day, night, and/or weekend shifts
• Occasional travel required
• Safety-first mindset, prioritizing safety over speed

Qualifications

• Experience in autonomous vehicle testing
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of AI and autonomous technology

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely
