About the role
This position focuses on developing system integration requirements for autonomous machine systems within the Loading, Dozing & Compaction Application Team. You will define requirements and architecture for autonomous machine systems, ensuring clear documentation and traceability while serving as a subject matter expert for Surface Loading Machine Autonomous Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Apply new autonomous system solutions and technologies to semi or fully autonomous systems.
- Decompose customer requirements into system-level (L6) requirements, including both hardware and software.
- Manage system-level requirements and related features in DevOps.
- Collaborate with Machine System teams (L6) to determine the best way to deliver autonomous features, including component selection and system integration.
- Ensure clear documentation and traceability of system requirements.
- Communicate system readiness and technical risk to stakeholders.
- Define requirements and architecture for integrating autonomous machine systems.
- Work with onboard electronic systems, processes, and people interactions.
- Make and communicate decisions around trade-offs between time, resources, and quality.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a relevant field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s accepted with full 5 years of experience).
- Proven ability to work on production products through design, implementation, customer rollout, and support.
- Ability to decompose complex customer requirements into achievable technical requirements.
- Experience with autonomous systems and systems integration over CAN and Ethernet.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work well with and through others.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $94,000 - $100,000 USD per year (Mossville, IL).
