The Parts Specialist sells parts to all available customers over the counter, through the shop or on the telephone.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in parts management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment components.
Able to read parts diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer catalogs.
Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Assist service technicians in identifying correct parts for repairs and maintenance.
Research parts using manufacturer catalogs, diagrams, and electronic databases.
Process parts requests, orders, returns, and warranty claims.
Maintain inventory levels through regular stock monitoring and replenishment.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts shipments.
Issue parts to technicians and accurately document transactions.
Cook up with suppliers and vendors to source hard-to-find or emergency parts.
Maintain accurate inventory records within company software systems.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of parts and materials.
Monitor backorders and communicate status updates to technicians and management.
Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.

Frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, take and hear.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
