About the role

The Senior Automotive Technician ensures accurate and efficient vehicle repairs, diagnosing complex issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction. They perform repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards, following safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicles based on certification/experience levels.
  • Perform repairs outlined on inspection or repair orders with accuracy.
  • Handle complex and heavy-duty repairs.
  • Explain diagnoses and repair needs to customers and team members.
  • Recommend necessary services, documenting all in customer files.
  • Follow safety protocols and report concerns.
  • Adhere to core values and policies.
  • Work flexibly, primarily Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience required.
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training preferred.

Skills

  • Proficient in using diagnostic computerized equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be capable of standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds, and working in environments with noise, dust, and fumes.
  • PPE use may be required.
  • Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Schedule

Work flexibly, primarily Monday through Friday.
