About the role
The Senior Automotive Technician/Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently and accurately, following dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. They perform work outlined on Multi-point Inspections or Repair Orders, explain technical issues to customers and staff, and recommend necessary services to maintain vehicle performance. Adherence to safety procedures and maintenance of ASE certifications are essential.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicles based on certification level and experience.
- Perform repairs and inspections accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate technical diagnoses and repair needs to non-mechanical individuals.
- Recommend and document necessary services.
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
- Maintain ASE certifications and renewals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 18.
- Ability to work at least five days, including Saturdays.
