Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join their team in Mount Joy, PA. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and potential bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and DOT physical if required for the role

• Physical ability to perform essential job functions including frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces
• Ability to safely perform duties in various weather conditions

Pay & Schedule

• Pay $30.00 - $45.00/hour (based on experience)
• Pay frequency - weekly pay - every Friday

Bonus

• Potential Sign-On & Retention Bonus - Up to $5,500
• $500 Sign on Bonus paid on the regular schedule on the 4th and 8th check
• $2500 Retention Bonus at 6 months
• $2500 Retention Bonus at 1 year
