Responsibilities

  • Performs vehicle repair, manufacture recall and warranty service, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting and vehicle certification and reconditioning services according to company policy and procedures.
  • Completes required manufacturer's training and performs warranty and recall repairs.
  • Maintains vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
  • Ensures all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
  • May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
  • Utilizes multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
  • Maintains the work area in a safe and clean condition.
  • Provides safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Complies with part and inventory tracking procedures.
  • Maintains the work area in a safe and clean condition.
  • Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.
  • OEM Level III Certification OR 4 current ASE certifications required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations and/or at-fault accidents. No drug or alcohol related incidents with the past 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • VA State Inspection Certification Preferred.
  • Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles (produced in the last 3 years).
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a full-time shift for the one of the following schedules: Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 8:00pm

Skills

  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in using multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.

Pay
