Responsibilities

• Problem solver with a technical background, committed to delivering excellence in all you do
• Immersed in the latest diagnostic technology in a state-of-the-art environment
• Perform diagnoses, repairs and maintenance of vehicles in accordance with demanding Group 1 automotive factory and center standards
• Work on commission and produce results (guaranteed during training period)
• Maintain an organized shop area
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
• Adhere to Group 1 Automotive values: Transparency, Professionalism and Teamwork

Requirements

• Efficient and accurate work in accordance with dealership’s and factory standards
• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
• Maintain an organized shop area
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
• Continuous learning of new technical information and techniques
• Adhere to Group 1 Automotive values: Transparency, Professionalism and Teamwork

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical or electrical background
• Experience in automotive, electrical or aircraft repair (highly preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills

• ASE certification (a plus but not required)
• Experience from all manufactures

Pay

$20.00 to $75.00 hourly based on experience level
