Automotive Store Manager

Join the winning team at Plaza Tire Service! In business since 1963, Plaza Tire Service has 75 locations across Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and NW Arkansas. We are seeking a qualified Store Manager in the Springfield area for our new Plaza Tire location, currently under construction.

Responsibilities

• A friendly, customer-focused attitude is a must for this position.
• Leading a group of employees and working directly with customers who need tires, routine maintenance and other services.
• Ensuring that each customer receives outstanding customer service by maintaining store standards, conducting call backs, and meeting time commitments.
• Handling escalated customer complaints.
• Setting expectations and communicating regularly with employees on job responsibilities, goals, training, development, and overall customer service.
• Holding management team accountable for job responsibilities, training, and goals by coaching or counseling employees toward desired behaviors.
• Analyzing and measuring business trends; developing and implementing plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed Sales and Profit targets as provided in the Store Margin Statement.
• Writing up customers in POS system.
• Answering phone calls.
• Inventory control.

Qualifications

• Possess current, valid Driver’s license.
• Five or more years of experience of sales in an auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication; business development and strategy implementation knowledge.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Pay

$90,000-$150,000 per year, to include base plus bonus. Base pay of $65,000-$75,000/yr.

Schedule

Minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
