About the role

The Service to Sales Consultant is responsible for selling new or used vehicles, specifically to service customers, at the dealership. Responsibilities include all facets of the vehicle sales/lease process, alerting potential customers, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Follows the road to sale as set forth by management (e.g., walk around, test drive, needs analysis, etc.)
  • Provides proposals to alert customers, either in person or via email/text if customers are unavailable.
  • Uses data mining software like Auto Alert Program to identify available opportunities.
  • Displays excellent customer service skills, managing difficult or challenging customer situations, responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback, and assisting with requests.
  • Works effectively with other Sales Consultants, co-employees, and dealership management to create and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Completes accurate paperwork accompanying vehicle sales.
  • Fulfills other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years automotive sales experience; minimum two years automotive sales management experience preferred.
  • Basic working knowledge of Dealership computer systems.
  • Excellent selling, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Valid in-state Driver's license and clean driving record.
