Automotive Service-to-Sales Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Service-to-Sales Associate to join our high-volume Volkswagen dealership in South Tampa. As the #1 volume Volkswagen store in Central Florida and a top 20 VW store nationally, we offer a fast-paced environment with opportunities for career advancement and growth from within.

Responsibilities

• Convert service customers to new car buyers by presenting purchase options, structuring deals, closing sales, and delivering vehicles
• Engage with every service customer throughout the day, both in-person and through pre/post-service contact
• Work closely with sales managers to structure deals and sell vehicles
• Maintain detailed, organized customer files and input data into our Client Management application
• Build strong customer rapport and maintain post-sale contact
• Learn and teach customers about high-tech vehicle features
• Greet and assist customers in the showroom or sales lot
• Collect customer information and help them select vehicles by asking questions and listening to their needs
• Describe optional equipment and perform professional vehicle presentations/demonstrations
• Learn all steps of the sales process according to company standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of automotive dealership sales experience
• Experience with service drive sales and Automotive Mastermind is a plus
• Proficient in email and text communication with strong grammar and writing skills
• Exceptional customer service skills with a high-energy, outgoing personality
• Ability to handle objections and discuss pricing professionally
• Clean and valid driver’s license
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen
