About the role

Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our expanding team. With over 80 years of industry experience and 60+ locations across multiple states, we represent 40+ automotive, powersports, and motorcycle brands in a family-oriented company that values personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair work as specified on repair orders with efficiency, following dealership standards.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning, according to specifications.
  • Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
  • Clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service advisors and customers in a non-technical manner.
  • Continuously expand technical knowledge through formal training sessions to stay current with rapidly evolving technology.
  • Inspect and test vehicles, documenting findings to ensure all necessary repairs are completed.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
  • ASE Certified.
  • Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.
