What You'll Do
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, drivability, and other automotive components.
- Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Complete multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow manufacturer warranty requirements, repair procedures, documentation standards, and repair escalation processes.
- Test-drive vehicles and utilize factory diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to verify concerns and confirm repairs.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding repair recommendations, additional services needed, and estimated completion times.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and parts return procedures.
- Keep your work area, service bay, toolbox, and surrounding workspace clean, organized, and safe.
- Participate in manufacturer and company training programs to stay current with evolving vehicle technology.

Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of professional automotive repair experience
- Dealership experience preferred
- Chrysler, Ford, GM, ASE, or other manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of modern automotive electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, brake, HVAC, and computerized vehicle systems
- Ability to read repair orders, inspect vehicles, and accurately diagnose concerns
- Knowledge of manufacturer warranty procedures and repair documentation
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- To provide your own technician tools
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- The ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet throughout the workday
- The ability to safely operate customer vehicles
