Automotive Service Technician - Group 1 Toyota Certified Capital Plaza

Overview

Group 1 Toyota Certified Capital Plaza is part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail sales and service. We are growing and looking for Automotive Flag Service Technicians to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic

The pay for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr. based on experience.
