Automotive Service Technician
About the role
San Tan Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated Ford Certified Service Technician to join their service team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing Ford vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Test-drive vehicles and perform diagnostic checks using specialized tools and equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding any additional service needs and repair timelines
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all dealership procedures
Requirements
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ford Certification preferred
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Able to use modern diagnostic and repair equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Qualifications
