Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other automotive components.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as alternators, fuel pumps, and catalytic converters.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and time needed for repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to explain repairs and answer questions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent experience.
- ASE certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- B and C Techs encouraged to apply!
- Strong mechanical and technical skills, including proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills.
- A passion for cars and a commitment to excellence.
