Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Come grow with us by joining our team as a technician! In this critical role, you will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. Position reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• You must have the ability to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles and an understanding of using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals.

Requirements

• Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus
• Appropriate hand tools (Tool Program available)
• Valid Driver’s License for vehicle classes working on (CDL is a Plus)
• Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Must have a great attitude and work ethic, be on time every day

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position
• Must have good manual dexterity
• Must have the ability to maintain a valid driver’s license, which includes successfully completing Medical Exam, Driving Test, and all other license requirements
• Company retains the sole discretion to change the duties of the position at any time

Pay

Pay Range $23.00-$35.00

Schedule

Guaranteed 40 Hours per week – Hourly -- not flat rate.
