Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Mills Auto Group is seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join their team. Located at Classic Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Goldsboro, they offer a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment, and test drive vehicles before and after repairs are made.
• Identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance needed.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Complete online multi-point inspection reports.
• Document services performed and steps taken to complete each repair.
• Perform services efficiently and according to dealership/manufacture guidelines.
• Estimate all necessary parts needed for each repair.
• Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks independently.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast learner.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Team player.
• Computer literate.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

• Clean criminal background.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
