Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues
- Repair and replace damaged, worn, or faulty parts
- Regularly maintain and service vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Use specialized equipment and tools to properly diagnose, repair, and service vehicles
- Keep accurate records of repairs and services performed
- Stay up-to-date with new automotive technology and techniques through training and workshops
- Communicate with customers to explain services, answer questions, and provide recommendations for future maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Technician preferred
- ASE certification and/or manufacturer training a plus
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must have basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate of $18 to $38 per hour
