Automotive Service Technician

Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Norman, 481 N. Interstate Dr., Norman, OK – Full‑time position in a brand‑new temperature‑controlled shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers are informed of any additional service needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to submit to a background check.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• OEM certification required (encouraged to maintain additional certifications).
