Automotive Service Technician

Compensation

• $60,000 - $120,000 annually (depending on experience)
• Paid 10 hours per day for manufactured off-site training
• (Reimbursed for gas/tolls)
• Paid $50 for each FCA web-based training certificate

Schedule

• Monday to Friday (lunch from 12 pm - 1 pm)
• Only one Saturday a month; when you work on a Saturday, you have a day off during the week.
• Shifts:
• 7 am - 4 pm
• 8 am - 5 pm

Essential Functions

• Perform maintenance services with efficiency and per manufacturer and dealership standards
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Detail written communication on RO's
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Must Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• Hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong computer and technical skills is a must
• Must have own set of tools (we provide the toolbox and special tools)

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of an Automotive Service Technician, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds
• Ability to move in and out of vehicles frequently
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending
