Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Anderson Ford of Bullhead City is seeking a Ford Certified Automotive Service Technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service technician roles and possess ASE and Ford certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and adherence to dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers about any additional service needs and provide estimates for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• A high school diploma or equivalent, with ASE Certification preferred
• Ford Certification preferred
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• A positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve
• An ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with others
• The ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
