Automotive Service Technician - All Levels

About the role

We're seeking experienced Technicians, Lube Technicians, or Journeyman Technicians to join our team at Castle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Naperville. We offer a range of positions including Lube Technician, Skilled Service Technician, Apprentice Technician, and Journeyman Technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Work to identify any automotive issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Collaborate with the Service Advisor to provide the most accurate information for the customer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a journeyman, service technician, or mechanic.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Teamwork mentality with the ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
