SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)
About the role
We are hiring immediately for a full time SERVICE TECHNICIAN position. The position is located at Coffee Distributing Corp at 200 Broadway, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. Online applications are accepted only.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle (Sprinter Van or Transit Truck) to transport equipment or supplies between client locations.
- Install, maintain, and repair coffee and water equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and providing information on the proper use of equipment.
- Keep updated records of performed tasks and customers.
- Manage and address any customer complaints or issues.
Requirements
- Previous 3 years of technical experience in coffee equipment or small appliances required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Pay
Pay Range: $24.00 per hour to $27.00 per hour.
Qualifications
The position requires a combination of education and experience. No specific degree is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency with small hand tools and mechanical equipment is required.
