About the role
We are seeking a Service Center Automotive Technician responsible for performing a variety of automotive services in our Automotive Service Center.
Responsibilities
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Repairing and installing tires, wheels, batteries, head lamps, and other basic automotive parts
- Performing oil changes, brake repairs, and fixing starting and charging systems
- Handling steering, suspension, shock/strut installation, and wheel alignments
- Installing trailer hitches and wiring, among other tasks with progressive on-the-job training
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and strong communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and every other weekend
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Must be 18 or older; prior auto repair and retail experience are preferred
- For Michigan stores, ASE certifications or equivalent are required for advanced technician levels
