Automotive Service Technician 3

About the role

As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will perform a variety of automotive services in a retail environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
• Perform tire repair, installation, and wheel balancing
• Install batteries, headlamps, and basic automotive parts
• Conduct oil changes, brake repairs, and service starting and charging systems
• Work on steering, suspension, shocks/struts, and wheel alignments
• Install trailer hitches and wiring, and perform other assigned duties with ongoing training

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to read and speak English
• Strong communication skills and ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
• Preferred prior auto repair and retail experience
• For certain locations, ASE certifications (A3, A4, A5, A6) or equivalent Michigan certifications are required for higher tech levels
