Responsibilities

  • Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, adhering to dealership, state, and factory standards.
  • Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to meet 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
  • Conduct the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection and video inspection on every vehicle; notify the Service Advisor if additional recommendations or extra time is needed.
  • Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and timekeeping.
  • Complete required training as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the workspace and in all customer vehicles.

Requirements

  • Accommodating and analytical, with a strong focus on precision and accuracy in work.
  • Resourceful and seeking a high level of technical expertise.
  • Unselfish and approachable, with a preference for detailed, skill-based work.
  • Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred.
  • ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S., with a valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards.

  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Skills

  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and systems.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and techniques.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with dealership management systems.
