Empire Cadillac is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive results in our brand-new, luxury Cadillac showroom in Long Island City. Responsibilities
- Guide salespeople through deal structuring and sales support to successfully close customers.
- Train, lead, and mentor the sales staff to maximize performance and success.
- Oversee sales phone calls, ensuring effective outreach and optimization.
- Address customer concerns with timely, effective solutions via CRM, phone, text, and email.
- Manage the sales department while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Continuously refine knowledge of vehicle offerings, optional packages, and emerging automotive technologies to serve as the dealership’s authority on new and used cars.
- Develop innovative strategies to attract new customers and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
- Consistently meet and exceed quotas and sales projections.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation to support seamless operations.
- Attend all required meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Collaborate with Finance Managers, Billers, and other team members to cultivate a highly efficient and positive workplace.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to lead and train a team.
- Consistent monthly results leading in new and used car sales.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Reliable and presentable in business attire, representing the dealership professionally.
- Excellent attendance record and commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to listen empathetically and lead with understanding.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Proven experience providing outstanding customer service by fostering trust and growing customer satisfaction.
- At least five years of prior sales employment in the automotive industry.
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive "team-player" attitude.
- Openness to constructive feedback to improve performance and development.
- Flexibility with work scheduling, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and DMS.
- Demonstrated job stability with growth in each position held.
