About the role
Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Inc, a proud member of the VIP Automotive Group of Long Island, is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and support the Sales Team to achieve sales goals.
- Supervise and manage the sales team’s daily activities, including prospecting and networking to acquire new customers.
- Utilize strong desking skills to assist in deal structuring and closing.
- Ensure all deals comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Train, motivate, and coach the sales team for peak performance.
- Manage and maintain the customer database to support sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with General Management for deal turnovers and effective operations.
- Promote the success of the company, dealership, and sales staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Sales Manager experience within an automotive dealership.
- Proven track record of strong closing skills.
- Extensive knowledge of CDK, VinSolutions, and AutoAlert.
- Ability to train and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent understanding and execution of dealership sales processes.
- Experience managing a fast-paced, high-volume sales department.
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years in a dealership management role.

Pay
$100,000 - $125,000 plus (inclusive of commission and bonuses)
Schedule
Full-Time Opportunity: 5/6 Day Work Week
Weekend availability required
Monday to Friday
