About the role

Our Lot Attendants/Porters verify the receipt of new vehicles, conduct thorough damage inspections, organize and park vehicles in the new vehicle lot, and ensure used vehicles are maintained in optimal condition. They work with the Used Car Manager to support departmental operations.

Responsibilities

• Work nights and weekends
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices and inspect for damage
• Keep the lot organized by moving and parking vehicles as directed by the GSM/Sales Department
• Catalog and store keys
• Clean interior and exterior of used vehicles, including trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc.
• Start vehicles daily and report any problems or concerns
• Perform light maintenance on vehicles, such as replacing windshield wiper blades, repairing or changing tires, replenishing fluids, and charging batteries
• Ensure required forms and stickers are completed and properly displayed

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Physical ability to use computer hardware and software
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Valid driver’s license and insurable with company insurance
• Strong sense of spatial orientation

Pay

Competitive salary of $19 per hour.
