About the role

The ideal candidate will be comfortable relating to guests and possess a strong understanding of our vehicles and services, industry trends, and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each guest with a prompt and enthusiastic greeting and accompany them on a tour of the Dealership
• Determine the guest’s needs through a needs assessment
• Present vehicles in a professional and informative manner, addressing any objections and providing demonstrations
• Initiate appraisals for trade-ins and introduce guests to the Dimmitt Service Department
• Engage guests during vehicle delivery and ensure they are familiar with all vehicle features
• Establish yourself as the primary point of contact for future product inquiries
• Stay updated on market conditions, vehicle values, and technological advancements
• Participate in special events and represent the Dimmitt brand
• Avoid missing new vehicle meetings as required
• Commit to achieving team and individual objectives
• Use the CRM to document all guest interactions and maintain a plan to meet daily, monthly, and annual goals

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is preferred
• Proven sales experience with verifiable sales targets
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with guests, associates, and leadership
• Passionate, energetic, innovative, proactive, and focused on quality and customer service
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including active listening
