Automotive Repair Technician B

About the role

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a B-Level Automotive Technician at 7009 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23294. This is a full-time position with a trusted, nationally recognized brand offering stability, career growth, and work-life balance.

Pay

• Hourly flat rate: $23.46 – $32.95/hour (adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law)
• Billable hours guarantee: 20-hour minimum per week
• Productivity bonus: $250 – $550 every two weeks based on productivity and performance

Schedule

• Full-time, 5 days per week
• Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays often required
• Sundays off every week, plus one additional day off based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Routinely perform diagnostics and repair work in suspension and steering, brakes (including ABS/traction control), electrical, heating/air conditioning, and other jobs as assigned
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue developing additional technical skills for work assignment flexibility
• Maintain a clean, well-organized work area
• Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow safety procedures per equipment manufacturer guidelines and corporate safety policies

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician with proven ability to perform standard automotive repairs
• ASE or Dealership certifications preferred in at least three categories: Suspension & Steering, Brakes, and Heating & Air Conditioning (or ability to obtain within 12 months – paid for by AAA)
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug, fitness for duty)
