Automotive Parts Stock Clerk – Buick GMC

About the Role

For over 50 years, the Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships has proudly served the York and Hanover communities with a commitment to exceptional customer service, teamwork, and integrity. Our family includes 340+ dedicated employees across nine locations representing 10 automotive brands. We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Stock Clerk to join the Parts Department at our Buick GMC dealership.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts shipments.
• Stock and maintain inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Pull and distribute parts to technicians and the parts counter.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse organization.
• Work closely with the Parts Manager and team to ensure smooth department operations.
• Use computer systems to assist with parts and inventory‑related tasks.
• Handle packages and parts, including some heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency.
• Some knowledge of automobile parts preferred.
• Previous experience in a parts department, parts counter, or automotive parts environment preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to navigate stairs repeatedly while carrying packages and parts.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Schedule

We are hiring for either:

• Part‑time: Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Full‑time: Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

No weekends. Enjoy evenings and weekends to yourself while working a consistent weekday schedule.

Compensation
