Automotive Parts Specialist | $45,000 - $50,000 & Weekends Off | Parker South

About the Role

As a Parts Specialist with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the first point of contact for our parts vendors, welcoming them with a warm and positive attitude. You will manage the intake of parts as they are delivered, coordinate with technicians to assess parts needs, order necessary parts, and maintain inventory levels. This position requires excellent general parts knowledge, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, service advisors, and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming parts in TekMetric and deliver them to the technician
• Organize and manage the parts return shelf for local and dealership returns
• Track returns and credits in TekMetric
• Label all pre-ordered parts with printed repair orders and scheduled appointment dates
• Queue returns from vendors in the appropriate return portal
• Process parts warranty claims and monitor reimbursement status
• Maintain and update accounts receivable tracking spreadsheets
• Check bulk oil levels and order when needed
• Track stocked cabin and engine air filters and order as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per our insurance carrier
• Prior computer and customer service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Able to type 50+ WPM
• Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs
• High school education is a plus
• Good communication skills and a desire to work with the public
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience as a counter person at an auto parts store is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs
• Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Efficiently navigate a computer
